Thomas Donahoe – An appreciation

Everyone at Balcas was saddened to learn the news of Thomas (Tommy) Donahoe’s passing at the weekend. Tommy, as he was known in the CHP plant, joined Balcas Energy in 2009 and quickly became a valued member of the team where he was held in high regard by all those who worked with him.

As well as being notable for being hardworking and enthusiastic, Tommy will be most fondly remembered by his Balcas mates for his sense of humour and sociability.

Our sincere sympathies go out to Tommy’s wife Clare and children; Hannah and Ryan, and his extended family and friends – may they all be sustained by wonderful memories of a true warrior and one of life’s real gentlemen.

May Tommy’s soul be at God’s right hand.

A service of thanksgiving for Tommy’s life will be held at St. Macartin’s Cathedral tomorrow, Wednesday at 11am, with interment to follow in Castle Archdale Parish Churchyard
