Bench Marking Sustainability

November 8, 2023

We were delighted to welcome some new faces and old friends to site recently as part of Fermanagh & Omagh District Council’s Programme For New Councillors.
Following the site tour and round table meeting, we presented our visitors with a bespoke bench which represents a tonne of carbon removed from the atmosphere and captured in timber.

Its an important illustration of how important our industry is in helping mitigate climate change.

The bench is now on display at the Round ‘O’ park in Enniskillen, so you can take a seat on a tonne of co2 the next time you’re passing.
