Balcas Sponsored Bursary For Dublin Degree

With just 3 weeks to go until A’ Level results, you may be feeling a little undecided about committing to a lifetime career, so for those of you that are a bit more ‘road less taken’ we wanted to make sure you knew about a brilliant degree option before making any final decisions!

Balcas are offering the opportunity to support your studies at this brand-new, 4 year honours degree in Sustainable Timber Technology (BSc Hons) at Technical University Dublin (TUD).

Our bursary will involve financial assistance for the student, paid summer placements and potential Postgraduate Employment. Commencing September 2021, this is the only programme in Ireland educating timber technologists for all parts of the Timber Industry.

There are a wide range of technologist and managerial roles available in the broad Timber Industry and the potential for career progression is strong. You can investigate these roles and further course information at www.tudublin.ie searching course code TU838
