Balcas Employee Colin Wright worth his weight in Gold

Congratulations to Colin Wright who won Gold in the Masters 1 Category at the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) Classic World Powerlifting Championships.

Colin who has been with Balcas for over seven and half years, traveled with the Great Britain Team to the IPF Classic World Powerlifting Championships in Potchefstroom, South Africa earlier this month.

Colin has set a new British record with his accumulative total of 790 kg at the IPF Classic World Powerlifting Championships.

He won Silver with his squat lift of 302.5 kg, setting another new British record, Gold for his deadlift of 310 kg and came in with 177.5 kg for his bench press!
